Let’s start with the Xperia XA, which was introduced earlier this year during Barcelona’s MWC 2016. It offers a premium design with virtually bezel-less screen on the sides but packs a small 720p resolution. For a 5-inch device, though, this would make for a nice PPI. The SoC running the show is MediaTek’s MT6755 Helio P10 paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a 13MP main shooter. Keeping the lights on is a small 2300 mAh unit. Now the handset is selling for just $199 and it’s hard not to call it a bargain. You can read more about the phone in our quick review here.

The second one down the list is the Xperia X. A bit pricier version of the XA but also beefed up a little because it sports the more powerful Qualcomm alternative – the Snapdragon 650 with Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal memory. The front-facing camera is 13MP while the back of the device shoots with a 23MP sensor and, of course, the battery is slightly bigger as well – 2620 mAh. This should make up for the more pixel-packed Full HD (1080p) display. The price of this small and powerful daily driver is now just $349 and if you still haven’t decided, head to our Xperia X review here to learn more about the device.

And as for the Xperia X Performance, that’s one hell of a powerful device in a small form factor, or in other words – just Sony style. The smartphone boasts a Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of flash storage, 23MP main camera, 13MP front-facing sensor and again 5-inch Full HD IPS display for your entertainment. The device also carries a bigger 2700 mAh, which should last for a full day without charging. Probably even more. So as you can see, the size hasn’t affected the beefy specs at all and doesn’t hold any grudge to the bigger phones. Its pricing is $499 and if the price and specs can’t convince you, we suggest reading our review of the Xperia X Performance to see for yourself if it’s worth it.
