We already introduced you to the review of Honor 6 Plus – a smartphone, bravely looking at the top models on the market. Unfortunately, great specs on paper don’t always guarantee a good device. That’s why we try to put the smartphones through as many detailed tests as we possibly can, and the display is one of the components that deserve special attention.
In Honor 6 Plus we’re presented with a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), which means that the pixel density is equal to 410ppi (pixels per inch). That’s not the only advantage, though. Our tests showed a very good contrast ratio of 1420:1 and 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut, which guarantees fully saturated, and great images. By adding the high color accuracy and lack of pulse-width modulation, the display of Honor 6 Plus turns into one of the best we’ve ever tested.
