Our tests: The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti exceeded the expectations set by NVIDIA, beats GeForce RTX 2060

Recently, we shared with you a result based on NVIDIA’s claims about the GTX 1660 Ti. It was able to reach 14880 as a Graphics score in 3D Mark’s Fire Strike benchmark. However, as we got our hand on the Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54), we were able to extract 15226 – which is some 2-3% increase.

Not only it was able to beat the score, set by NVIDIA, but it was able to excel over the entry-level Ray Tracing-enabled graphics card – the GeForce RTX 2060. Despite the marginal difference, it is worth mentioning that GeForce GTX 1660 Ti beat the RTX 2060 even in Unigine Heaven 3 and 4 benchmarks. We definitely see a strong point from NVIDIA with this GPU.

Results are from the 3DMark: Time Spy (Graphics) benchmark (higher the score, the better)

Results are from the 3DMark: Fire Strike (Graphics) benchmark (higher the score, the better)

Results are from the Unigine Superposition benchmark (higher the score, the better)
