The laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS, which is a 6-core, 12-thread chip. While the core count might feel low, each core can boost as high as 5.00GHz, so the processor is still good for handling games and productivity apps (coding, video, and photo editing). There’s a 95W RTX 4050 GPU that gets paired up with a Full HD+ display, a perfect combo. The panel comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and G-Sync, so the display is both smooth and responsive. The GPU can also deliver 144 FPS and more in many esports titles, both MOBAs and shooters, so you can have a great experience. Rounding out the configuration are 512GB SSD and 16GB of DDR5 memory.

You can check out our full playlist of games tested on the RTX 4050 on our LaptopMedia Benchmarks channel, which can tell you a better story of how the GPU performs. However, our benchmarks test the 45W version, so the 95W should be a fair bit more powerful. Essentially, you can play most games at Full HD without a problem with high fps and high settings, or switch to 1440p with lower settings.
