The new Acer Spin 1 SP111-34N series – affordable hybrid for students

Another day has come and its light shines for the Acer Spin 1 SP111-34N – a truly flexible device with an appealing design language. It’s basically a convertible for students and users who need a lightweight companion for undemanding tasks.

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: https://laptopmedia.com/series/acer-spin-1-sp111-34n/

As expected, this Spin does not feature a super speedy CPU but the available up to an Intel Pentium Silver N5000 will do fine for the purposes in question. Graphics-wise, we are looking at a similar situation with up to an Intel UHD Graphics 605 GPU. Additionally, the best storage device you could get is up to a 128GB SSD. The memory department can’t be viewed as a beckoning selling point though – up to 4GB of RAM is the best you can do.

Moving on, the display section is one of the best things about this bad boy. You are presented with a 14.0”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS panel which is also touch-sensitive. Contributing to the compactness of the Acer Spin 1 SP111-34N are its low weight of 1.20 kg and profile thickness of only 14.1 mm.

As for the competition, there is the Lenovo YOGA 720 (12″), Acer Aspire Switch 12 S (SW7-272), and Lenovo Miix 630.
