日本The new Acer Swift 5 (SF514-52) – specs, features and configurations
Today, we are going to take a look at a new refreshed model of the Acer Swift 5 series – namely the new Acer Swift 5 (SF514-52). Under the hood, you can find up to a latest 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U which handles all the tasks easier than ever. Additionally, the Intel UHD Graphics 620 takes care of the graphics performance. You are also presented with up to 16GB of DDR4-2400 RAM paired with up to a 512GB SSD (SATA or PCIe) for extra fast data transfer.
Moving on to the display, the Acer Swift 5 (SF514-52) sports a 14-inch FHD touchscreen IPS panel with narrow border design – the borders on both sides are just 9.2 mm thick resulting in a larger viewing area and more appealing visual experience respectively. Moreover, the 170-degree wide viewing technology allows you to enjoy the image no matter at what angle you position your device. Another feature worth mentioning is the Acer Color Intelligence technology that ensures the detail is vivid and the colors bright and contrasty.
Furthermore, the ultralight (just 0.97 kg) Acer Swift 5 (SF514-52) accommodates magnesium-lithium top and bottom, while the palm rest area is magnesium-aluminum which creates the feeling of great portability but also pretty good stability. In addition, the 2-cell 4670 mAh battery provides you with up to 8 hours on a single charge so you are set for the entire day.
As for the operating system, the laptop relies on Windows 10 Home. One of its impressive features is the digital assistant Cortana that recognizes your voice even from across the room and can answer questions, schedule appointments and many more. In addition, Acer has included a fingerprint reader so you can log in instantly without having to remember tedious passwords.
And finally – the connectivity options consist of a single USB 3.0 Type-A (Sleep and Charge) port, another USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.0 Type-C, HDMI, SD card reader, audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.
