The new Acer Swift 7 (SF714-51) ultrabook series – prices, specs, features and configurations
Another day, another laptop series to be discussed in a short publication. Today we are looking at the new Acer Swift 7 (SF714-51), a successor to the original Swift 7. This year’s iteration is now even thinner (only 8.98 mm) and makes use of an Intel 4G/LTE modem and also has a bigger display.
You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: http://laptopmedia.com/series/acer-swift-7-sf714-51/
Hardware-wise, we are looking at an Intel Core i7-7Y75 SoC – not the most powerful processor out there but we must bear in mind that this is an extremely thin ultrabook and it’s not meant to run the latest and greatest games. Moving on, the graphics card is Intel HD Graphics 615 (GT2) which will suffice for everyday tasks. Memory-wise, Acer Swift 7 comes with up to 8GB of RAM, and for the storage you can use up to a 256GB SSD. The latter ensures ultra fast loading of the OS or other heavier software applications.
As it was mentioned above, the 2nd generation Swift 7 receives a bigger screen – 14-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution. A mention should be also made of the most notable available connectivity options – 2 × USB 3.1 (Gen 1) Type-C. This means fast data transfer speeds – quite handy when you’re on the go and want business done fast.
