The new AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 reaches 74th place in our Top Laptop Graphics ranking

The new AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 found inside the Ryzen 7 2700U hits 74th place in our Top Laptop Graphics ranking. The new integrated graphics chip delivers much faster performance than any other we have seen as of today.

To quickly cover the specs, the new RX Vega 10 features 10 computing units and a total of 640 shaders. The maximum frequency of the chip is 1300MHz and as any other integrated GPU, it doesn’t include its own memory.

For comparison, the Intel UHD Graphics 620 found in the new 8th gen Kaby Lake-R chips is ranked way back at 155th place. You can check out a detailed comparison between the two over here. On the other hand, the famous budget-friendly NVIDIA GeForce 940MX (2GB GDDR5) is ranked 71st so you could say that the new RX Vega 10 performs similarly to a low-end dedicated GPU. It’s definitely not suitable for gaming but you can play some esports with it.
