The new ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 (M580VD/N580/X580) equipped with GeForce GTX 1050 is now available on the market

ASUS’ VivoBook Pro 15 is not one of its ROG-branded gaming notebooks but it still packs the necessary hardware for light gaming but combines it with the sleek look and portability of an ultrabook.

The o.8″-thick and 5.1 lbs heavy aluminum unibody chassis is home to either the mid-range Intel Core i5-7300HQ or the higher end Intel Core i7-7700HQ as well as a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. This is backed by either 8 or 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB of fast M.2 SSD. The VivoBook Pro 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) display with 100% sRGB coverage and wide 178 degrees viewing angles. You also get an ergonomic backlit keyboard with 1.4 mm key travel and Harman/Kardon-certified audio system.

The ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 starts at $799.00 for the Core i5-7300HQ version and goes up to $999.00 for the Core i7-7700HQ model. If you are wondering which one is better for you, you can check out our detailed comparison of both processors over here. For most users, the Core i5-7300HQ model will be more than enough but the Core i7-7700HQ configuration has some additional perks like 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB HDD in addition to the 256 GB SSD.

VivoBook Pro 15 has all the necessary connectivity options including a USB Type-C port and dual band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. You also get a quick charge feature that can juice up your battery to 60% in just 49 minutes so you don’t have to stick to the wall charger for long periods of time.

Thanks for posting this I wish it had a IPS display. I wonder how good the FHD display is?
