The new ASUS ZenBook Flip UX561UD multimedia series – specs, features and configurations

This time we are going to take a look at the major specifications of the new ASUS ZenBook Flip UX561UD.

Starting off with hardware options, the device sports the latest 8th-generation Intel Core processors – you can choose between configurations with Intel Core i7-8550U or Intel Core i5-8250U. As for the graphics part, the available GPU here is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB GDDR5) providing enough power for even the most graphics-demanding tasks. Аs far as memory capacity is concerned, you get up to 16 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM paired with up to 256GB SSD + up to 1000GB HDD storage.

Moving on to display options, the 15.6-inch IPS configurations offer either Full HD (1920 x 1080) or 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution. Here, you will also come across 178° wide viewing angles, amazing pixel density and 100% sRGB that make the images ultra-sharp and detailed. What’s more, the NanoEdge display features a really thin bezel and a matte anti-glare coating which gets rid of the annoying reflections. On top of that, the 79% screen-to-body ratio reduces the overall size while expanding the screen area for an even more comfortable viewing experience.

Additionally, the aluminum construction of ASUS ZenBook Flip UX561UD tips the scale at 2.10 kg (4.6 lbs) with a 21 mm thin profile. Thanks to its 360° hinge mechanism made of alloy steel you can use it securely in a laptop, as well as tablet mode. What’s more, the available operating system here is Windows 10 providing numerous features such as ASUS Pen and Windows Ink that help you express your creativity.

And last but not least – the connectivity options consist of two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a single USB 3.0 Type-C with the support of Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, SD card reader, as well a an audio jack.
