The leading technological company HP claims that their new HP Envy x2 (12.3″) is the detachable Windows PC with the longest battery life so we thought we should dedicate an article to it for those of you who are intrigued by this bad boy.

Starting off with hardware options, the notebook sports the Snapdragon 835 CPU developed by Qualcomm. The HP Envy x2 (12.3″) along with the ASUS NovaGo are among the first laptops that feature this processor. In addition, the GPU is also developed by Qualcomm and it is the Adreno 540. Other specifications include up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of solid-state storage.

The notebook comes with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and а WUXGA+ (1920 x 1200) IPS panel. Furthermore, it is claimed to be a “detachable PC” which means you can use the device in tablet mode when you remove the keyboard or in laptop mode at up to 150 degrees for comfortable use. In addition, the HP Envy x2 is targeted at portability so its fully aluminum construction tips the scale at just 0.7 kg (plus another 0.5 kg for the keyboard) while its thinnest point is measured at 6.9 mm.

Another impressive feature is the connectivity. Not only does the notebook support the latest Wi-Fi standards but is also connects to wireless data without the local connection. In terms of operating system, you are presented with the well-known Windows 10.

Probably the most intriguing thing about this bad boy is its battery as HP claims that it has the longest life in a detachable Windows PC – the convertible tablet is supposed to last up to 20 hours. You are also presented with a single USB 3.0 Type-C, microSD card reader, audio jack, as well as Nano SIM card slot.
