The new HP ProBook 430 G5 – specs, features and configurations

First off, under its hood, you will see up to the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor that provides 40% increase in the performance compared to the previous 7th generation. You can pair your CPU with up to an Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU. In addition, the maximum amount of memory is 32 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM while storage-wise, you get up to 1 TB SATA (5400 rpm).

The display comes with a diagonal of 13.3 inches and you can choose between an HD (1366 x 768) TN panel or Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS one. Additionally, there is an anti-glare coating allowing you to enjoy the image to the fullest even in direct sunlight. The 19.8 mm thin laptop has a starting weight of 1.49 kg (3.3 lbs) which makes it your perfect portable companion. What’s more, the 3-cell 48 Wh battery should last up to 17 hours and 30 minutes according to HP.

In terms of operating system, the device comes with pre-installed Windows 10 versions or FreeDOS 2.0. And finally – the connectivity options include a single USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), another USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB Type-C port, SD card slot, audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.
