And in terms of storage, the laptop features up to 512GB SSD that delivers ultra-fast loading of the applications.

Now let’s take a look at the display options – a 15.6-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution or 15.6-inch TN one with HD (1366 x 768) res. Furthermore, the chassis is only 23 mm thick and weighs 2.00 kg (4.4 lbs). Lenovo ThinkPad L580 also stands out with up to 11 hours of battery life and that’s not all – if you happen to fall short of charge, the RapidCharge feature delivers up to an 80% battery capacity in just an hour.

In order to ensure your security, the notebook boasts an integrated fingerprint reader which not only makes logging in super easy but also protects you against hacking with its anti-spoofing technology – in other words, the fingerprint image is saved inside the chip itself without being sent out for login authentication. We should also mention the discrete Trusted Platform Module which is used for data encryption. On top of all this, you get Fast Identity Online – FIDO – which enables layers of authentication, for example, it secures your online credentials when you sign in to websites such as Facebook or make payments via PayPal, etc.

And lastly, the connectivity options you get include 2x USB 3.0 Type-C ports, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, HDMI, microSD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.
