The new Razer Blade – most compact gaming laptop in the 15.6-inch form factor (Also, 144Hz 4K IPS!)

Another good news for all gaming fanboys out there today. This time it’s about a notebook – the new laptop by Razer, to be precise. As you can guess by the title, the most characteristic feature of this bad boy is its compact construction which houses extremely powerful hardware. By the latter we mean up to an i7-8750H processor accompanied by a GTX 10xx graphics card. However, we must note that the GPUs are of the Max-Q design.

What’s fascinating is that the aforementioned hardware components fit in a body thick only 0.66″. That’s not all that a gamer needs, though, and the manufacturer is well aware. You are also presented with a 1080p screen with 144 Hz refresh rate and almost no bezels. Additionally, there is an option for a 144 Hz 4K IPS panel that covers 100% of the Adobe RGB color gamut – this makes it an excellent choice for photographers or videographers who need a lightweight and capable assistant to edit on the go.

Also, you are provided with the fancy Razer Chroma RGB keyboard. What’s even more fascinating is that the manufacturer has included an 80Wh battery in the thin body. This, however, is expected, given the demanding hardware.

The prices will vary between $1899.99 and $2899.99.

A brief mention should be also made of the new graphics enclosure – Core X. It supports 3-slot GPUs and will be compatible with even MacBooks which support the Thunderbolt 3 standard.
