You can expect just about the average battery life from Toshiba P50-C at this price range
Although the Toshiba P50-C has some neat specs and features that are worth considering, the battery life doesn’t seem to impress us much. Don’t get us wrong, though. The battery performance, that was delivered by the machine, is actually way above the bare minimum and when it comes to web browsing – the battery life is actually better than average.
After all, the notebook packs some good specs under the hood that require a bit more juice to keep things running. For instance, the Full HD IPS panel and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M aren’t the most energy efficient piece of hardware and they do take a toll on the 45Wh (2800 mAh) battery. Let’s cut to the chase, though. Web browsing on the notebook got us about 352 minutes of battery life, video playback was 286 minutes and gaming on this machine is possible for around 103 minutes.
All tests are performed under the same conditions – Wi-Fi is turned on, battery saver is on and screen brightness is set to 120 cd/m2. More test regarding performance, screen, temperatures etc. will be published in our full review of the model. Stay tuned.
