Apple MacBook Air 15 (Mid-2023) review – the new 15-inch MacBook Air is all you expect it to be

Ever since Apple is making laptops its devices have been out of reach for many people. This is where the MacBook Air starts to show itself as a true contender. But until very recently, the model was restrained by one very unusual factor – screen size.

It was only offered in a 13-inch variant, which was a turn-down for many people, who want (and need) a bigger screen. Finally, in 2023, defeated by the fact that human beings won’t develop eyes with microscopic vision, Apple decided to create the MacBook Air 15.

Okay, everybody calm down. We have it in our office, and now, you are going to learn what you need to know about it before committing to a purchase. Interestingly, there is only one option regarding the SoC – Apple’s in-house M2 chip with 8 CPU, and 10 GPU cores. As usual, the processor part of the system uses 4 performance and 4 efficiency cores.

In addition, you can configure the device with up to 24GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade the laptop down the line. However, this is not unexpected.

As you can imagine, the MacBook Air 15 has a 15-inch display. It would have been boring if it was the regular 15.6-inch standard, thus you get a 15.3-inch unit with a resolution of 2880 by 1864 with rounded top corners and another surprise in the top part of the screen.
