The memory (DDR4-3200MHz) of the laptop is soldered to the motherboard. The RAM of the 8GB configurations is working in single-channel mode, while the 16GB versions can take advantage of the dual-channel memory. For storage, there is just one M.2 slot compatible with Gen 4 SSDs. Due to AMD platform limitations, the speed of the slot is downgraded to Gen 3 values.
