AMD Radeon R8 M445DX is an asymmetric CrossFire mode between the discreet mid-range Radeon R7 M440 graphics controller with GCN Tonga architecture and the integrated Radeon R5 graphics chip, from the Bristol Ridge family. This mode of operation is called CrossFire because the integrated graphics operate in parallel with the discreet chip, which improves frame rendering performance.
Base frequency is 1020MHz for the Radeon R7 M440, and the latter is equipped with a total of 320 shader cores. The Radeon R5 (Bristol Ridge) clocks at 720MHz, but thanks to the Turbo clock functionality, the frequency can go up to 1120MHz for the discreet chip and 800MHz for the integrated controller.
AMD Radeon R8 M445DX combination supports Mantle, Vulkan, DirectX 12 and Shader model 5.0.
