One of the best selling smartphones in the mid-range Huawei P9 Lite (check out our in-depth review in tandem with Color Band A1) turns out to be a very good assistant not just for outdoor entertainment but in the virtual reality as well. We can confirm that because we tested the device with two of the “heaviest” games in Google Play – Modern Combat 5 and Dead Trigger 2.
P9 Lite didn’t have any problems with these titles, although we should note that the High graphics setting in Dead Trigger was locked so the test was conducted at Medium graphics. The average FPS in the post-apocalyptic zombie action were 29, which is a very good result. We also measured a momentary drop to 22 FPS but for most of the time the game ran smoothly, at around 27 FPS.
