Lenovo unveiled its plans to release a high-end gaming notebook to compete with the likes of ASUS ROG G752, Acer Predator 17 and Alienware 17 R3 with its latest addition to the Y lineup – the Lenovo IdeaPad Y900. Unfortunately, though, the machine is going to launch this year sometime around June, so don’t hold your breath.
However, we were able to get our hands on an early testing sample and we even did a full review of the model. It performs excellently, just like every other high-end gaming machine out there, but a few other features set the bar high for its competitors. It has impeccable all aluminum design, sweet mechanical LED-backlit keyboard with different zones and incredibly comfortable wrist rest area.
