[Preliminary] AMD Ryzen 9 5900H vs Intel Core i7-10875H – The Ryzen 9 is victorious both in Single-core and Multi-core

    As soon as we found out that benchmark results of the new Ryzen 9 5900H were leaked, we started some preliminary comparisons against some of the top processors from our Top Laptop CPU Ranking, where you can check out the best-performing CPUs. Today we have the new Ryzen 9 going up against a very formidable foe, in the face of the Intel Core i7-10875H.

    CPU benchmark

    To no surprise, the Ryzen 9 5900H took the victory in both Single-core and Multi-core, by 18% and 15%, respectively. Although the Core i7 has a higher clock speed, the newer 7nm Zen 3 architecture really shows off its performance gains.

    Conclusion

    To finish this up, the Ryzen 9 was undoubtedly better, scoring 18% higher in Single-core, and 15% higher in Multi-core. We for sure can’t wait to receive a device with this new Ryzen 9 so we can do our own tests and bring you full in-depth comparisons that include iGPU benchmarks and gaming tests.
