[Comparison] AMD Ryzen 5 6600H vs Intel Core i7-12700H – Zen 4 can’t come any sooner
Come to think of it, we haven’t really compared the Ryzen 5 6600H against a true flagship CPU of its caliber. Fortunately, we have just the CPU in mind, which so far has faced no opposition and no competitor has been able to challenge it. Of course, we’re talking about the Core i7-12700H, the current #1 holder in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking.
Today we are comparing the AMD Ryzen 5 6600H against the Intel Core i7-12700H.

CPU benchmarks
The Core i7-12700H is 77% quicker in the Cinebench 20 3D Rendering test, while the Photoshop lead was a bit less drastic but still large, at around 2.3 seconds.
Results are from the Cinebench R23 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)
Conclusion
Alder Lake is looking very strong at the moment, and even if Zen 4 comes into the mobile world to take the throne away, Team Red would then have to worry about Raptor Lake, which is steadily arriving. One area where AMD still has the advantage is efficiency, with its 45W+ CPUs offering amazing battery life.
