It’s no surprise that the newer Intel Core i9-10980HK took the win against the Intel Core i9-9980HK. We saw performance gains of 13% in Cinebench 15 and 6% in Photoshop. After all, it would be a shame if you have your older CPU perform better than your new one.

Conclusion
The newer Intel Core i9-10980HK is better than the Intel Core i9-9980HK by 13% in our 3D Rendering test with Cinebench 15 and 6% in 2D Rendering with Adobe Photoshop. That was to be expected since newer generations bring small improvements that, while some people might find negligible, contribute to the increased performance.
