[FPS Benchmarks] GTA V on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (150W) and RTX 3070 Ti (150W) – RTX 3080 is 11% faster
GTA V is a very popular Rockstar Games title. The PC version was released back in 2015 and even now the multiplayer part of the game has been constantly updated with new content via patches. Other than that, the game still looks good, especially on Ultra details. The good news is there are numerous mods for the single-player mode – including total conversions or you just add new cars and missions to the game.
As we said, visually the title still looks good and a good mid-range GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) is enough for 66 FPS on Ultra details. If you have a high refresh rate display things are getting a bit different (ergo – expensive). That’s why for this article we’re going to examine the performance of two fast video cards – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (150W) and RTX 3070 Ti (150W).

Verdict
It’s completely normal that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (150W) is 11% faster compared to the RTX 3070 Ti (150W). Both GPUs are fast enough for 144Hz display on High details and both rivals can show at least 90 FPS on Ultra details. It seems that the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti [150W] is the smart buy in this comparison and if money isn’t a problem, the GeForce RTX 3080 [150W] can give a slight FPS boost compared to the smaller sibling.
