Overwatch is a popular online shooter developed by Blizzard. The game has fun and challenging gameplay and the visual quality is good. Still, the game isn’t too heavy and in most cases, a decent mid-range GPU should do the job if you don’t need super high FPS values.

Speaking of FPS, even an iGPU like the AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 [R4000/5000, 15W] can achieve 73 FPS on Low quality so, most of the nid-range dGPU should show much higher scores. For this article, we have picked two decent not-so-expensive video cards – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) and RTX 3050 (55W).

Verdict

Expectedly, the 75W GPU is faster. On Low settings both rivals are pretty close but further down the road, the bigger GPU is 22% faster on Epic quality thanks to its bigger TGP and more CUDA cores. However, the GeForce RTX 3050 [55W] performs very well for a GPU with such a degreased power limit – it scores 114 FPS on Epic quality which should be enough for the majority of players.
