[FPS Benchmarks] Overwatch on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W) – RTX 3060 is 37% faster on Epic quality
When it comes to popular online shoots, Overwatch is one of the most well-known games for the past few years. This Blizzard game has a good visual quality, a nice soundtrack, and its gameplay is challenging and full of humor. In addition, you can choose from a lot of in-game characters and weapons.
Visually, the game still looks fresh despite the fact that the successor is already on its way. Overwatch isn’t a very demanding game – an iGPU like the AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 [R4000/5000, 15W] is enough for more than 70 FPS on Low quality. Still, if you want to play this game with bumped visual and higher FPS, you’re going to need something more powerful. We have picked two good RTX GPUs for this article – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W).

Verdict
On Low, both GPUs are showing close results but further down the road, the GeForce RTX 3060 [65W] is just faster. The bigger GPU is 17% faster on High and 37% faster on Epic which is a big performance gap. So, the bigger GPU is even suitable for 120 Hz or 140 Hz displays with maxed-out visuals. On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 3050 [55W] can be found in cheaper configurations and it can show around 160 FPS on High quality which is a great result for a GPU with such a decreased TGP.
