[FPS Benchmarks] Resident Evil Village on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W) – both are fast
Contents
Resident Evil Village is a horror game developed by Capcom. The title continued the story of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. You’ll play as Ethan Winters who is searching for his kidnapped daughter. Of course, the action takes place in a village full of mutants and other hostile creatures and humans.
In terms of graphics, Resident Evil Village looks good and it looks like a well-optimized game. Still, you can’t play it with a potato PC, but you don’t need a powerhouse to see this game in its full glory. A modest 4GB video card with a decreased TGP like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 [55W] can show around 100 FPS on Max quality. On the other hand, people with high refresh rate displays will probably need something a lot more powerful. For this article, we’ll compare two powerful NVIDIA graphics cards – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W).

Verdict
On average, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) is just 7% faster compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (140W). It’s not a mind-blowing difference so both video cards are offering similar performance at least when it comes to Resident Evil Village. However, if money isn’t a problem, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) is the more future-proof in this comparison because it has more video memory.
