Opening the Device

Undo the 4 Phillips-head screws securing the bottom panel.
Use a thin plastic tool to pop the backside in the middle.
Fully pry the rear, sides, and front to remove the bottom panel.

Battery Removal

Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Undo the 5 Phillips-head screws securing the battery.
Lift the battery to remove it from the device.

Note: The device uses a 71Wh battery, providing approximately 8 hours of web browsing or 11 hours of video playback.

Memory Information

Note: Unfortunately, the RAM is soldered. The device comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x in dual-channel mode, rated at 7467 MHz frequency.

Storage Upgrade

Locate the single M.2 slot for 2280 Gen 4 SSDs.
Remove the metal shroud covering the NVMe by undoing one Phillips-head screw.
Lift the shroud, revealing the long thermal pad on the inside.
Install the new SSD in the slot.

Cooling System Overview

The vapor chamber thermal system, named OMEN Tempest Cooling GO, is extensive for the small chassis.
The cooling system includes two fans and a pair of heat sinks, almost fully covering the small motherboard.
