MSI was one of the busiest brands at this years’ CES, with their MSIology virtual event exploring ancient mythology and announcing their newest gaming devices. Well, while MSI is mostly known for gaming laptops, they have been trying to expand to the productivity and creativity market for a while now.
That is why their newest addition, the Summit E13 Flip, on paper, looks to be one the best notebooks for productivity. It does so by combining an excellent design that is both interesting and sophisticated with amazing performance thanks to Intel’s Tiger Lake processors.
Today we are giving you a quick overview of the MSI Summit E13 Flip.
MSI Summit E13 Flip: Full Specs
Starting off on the exterior, the Summit E13 Flip features a metal unibody build, which makes the device super thin and light. This convertible device is only 15.9mm thin at the thickest point, which is among the best we have seen, and weighs only 1.35 kg, making for one of the most portable devices out there in the world. The design looks very stylish and modern, with golden accents around the entirety of the lid and the base of the keyboard, including the touchpad.
Being a convertible device, it has a touchscreen display with a size of 13.4-inches and a resolution of Full HD+. Yes, it has a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is becoming the standard as more and more devices become implementing it. What’s more, is that it covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, which is ideal for designers, writers, and people focused on productivity.
The spec sheet is quite small here, with only one CPU and GPU being available. The device comes only with the Intel Core i7-1185G7, which is paired with the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 (96EU). The CPU has a 4-core, 8-thread layout and a boost clock of 4.80GHz. As for the GPU, we have already seen its performance on other devices, and all we can say is that it is one of the best iGPUs that we have seen.
