Dell Latitude 13 7330 Rugged Extreme: Full Specs

Design

The laptop is built like a tank, with everything being tightly shut and well-packed together for the best possible durability. The four corners are heavily protected, however, there’s no information about the materials. However, we expect to see some plastic, which fares better against drops, with the metal being saved for internal bracing and durability. The laptop is very thick and heavy, especially for a 13-inch machine. It weighs 2.38 kg and has a profile of 36.50 mm, which is fair, considering the market that its in.

On the lid, we see thick bezels, as well as a webcam that can come in both HD and FHD resolution. It has a physical shutter that you can manually close or open, which we prefer. There’s an optional fingerprint reader and a backlit keyboard. The I/O is hidden behind doors, which are protected against water and other types of damage. You get two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a MicroSD card reader, a SmartCard reader, a LAN port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Display

The 13.3-inch IPS display has an FHD resolution and 1400 nits of brightness, which is unmatched and should be visible in all lighting conditions. The panel covers 100% of the sRGB gamut, as well as having a pretty high contrast ratio of 1500:1.

Specifications and features

The laptop offers the Core i5-1135G7, Core i5-1145G7, and Core i5-1185G7, all with 4 cores and 8 threads. It’s also got the Iris Xe Graphics G7 integrated graphics, which will be totally fine for the use case of the device. While the Tiger Lake U-series chips are known to be decently efficient, the laptop has swappable batteries. A single unit has a capacity of 53.5Wh, but Dell advertises up to 25 hours with the swap.
