日本Alienware m17 – the latest gift from the mothership
Yep, there’s another Alien, a bigger one. It’s the 17-inch Alienware m17 and it is an entirely new series.

Thus far, we have reliable info for only one of the configurations but there will be more without a doubt. And so, what’s known is that one of the CPUs to choose from is the Intel Core i9-8950HK that occupies the prestigious 3rd position in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking. Moving on to the graphics processor, we find an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q but we would like to emphasize that there will be more options in this department as well.
Other hardware peculiarities include up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1000GB SSD for storage. As the name suggests, this bad boy has a 17-inch screen and so far we are aware of two options – a Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS one and a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS version.
Among the more notable connectivity options, we find a USB Type-C 3.1 (3.1 Gen 2) connector (Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort, HDMI), DisplayPort mini, HDMI, Alienware Graphics Amplifier port and more.
When it comes to competitors, one of the potential rivals is yesterday’s Triton 900 which is similar in power, albeit with a rather different design.
