ASUS silently released a more advanced version of the ASUS ROG G752VS with NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 1070 named ROG G752VS OC Edition and “OC” stands for “overclock”. However, the only overclockable components here are the RAM and CPU so unfortunately, you won’t be able to squeeze out more out of the GTX 1070.

Anyway, the notebook sports Intel’s overclockable Core i7-6820HK paired with up to 64GB DDR4-2400 RAM (also overclockable) and the graphics performance is taken care of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. The storage options also remain unchanged – 1TB HDD + an optional M.2 PCIe NVMe-enabled SSD. To keep things cool, ASUS has implemented its iconic ROG 3D Mobile Vapor Chamber, which allows for up to 6% better GPU performance and 12.5% higher than the stock DDR4 clock speeds. The other notable features are still in place like Full HD G-Sync IPS panel with 75 Hz refresh rate.

The notebook is available for order and the starting model listed on ASUS’ website is $2 999 configured with 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB HDD. You can browse for more configurations on Amazon.com if you require smaller storage or higher amounts of RAM.
