After we received a number of complaints with regard to the Lenovo P70, our team personally contacted Lenovo to find out what they have to say about the issue. A couple of days ago, we informed you that the company considers the problem to be a matter of software and an update is being prepared to resolve the trouble.
Just minutes ago we heard from Lenovo, and there is good news for all P70 owners. The company apologizes for the signal loss and dropped calls, but highlights the fact that a new update has indeed been created to address the matter, and it will officially be released on Monday, March 16. They are delaying the release with a few days to conduct tests.
We still have our P70 test unit, so we’ll be waiting for the update and will, of course, share whether the problem is gone or if there are any changes in general. For the time being, feel free to comment and mention any additional problems, so that we could check them out.
