Lenovo’s reports show this is their best quarter for four years

Today, with this short article we shall take a break from dealing with specifications and talk a bit about some good news from a company that many of you love. Lenovo seems to be quite happy with its Intelligent Transformation approach as it has resulted in this being the most profitable quarter for them in the last four years!

Guess what! Lenovo has returned to the global number 1 in the PC segment with a 23.7% market share. The company’s smart devices and PCs business has gone beyond the 10 billion USD revenue mark. Lenovo’s CEO Yang Yuanqing states with firm belief that the company “is in a period of strong, sustainable growth and I am confident that our clear mission, strategy and execution capabilities will continue to drive even stronger results in coming quarters.”

Additionally, you may wish to know that the year-on-year growth is 10% which amounts to 11.84 billion USD. But enough with the boring figures. What’s more interesting is the laptop products which are most profitable – the quarter witnessed a double-digit revenue increase in the Legion gaming department, Yoga, as well as ThinkPad and IdeaPad segments.
