The Acer Predator Triton 500 (PT515) is a smaller but just as capable Triton 900

Earlier today we shared with you the news about the intriguing new Triton 900, and now we would like to touch upon its smaller brother. It’s more conventional in terms of design but the novelties in the hardware department have been preserved.

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: https://laptopmedia.com/series/acer-predator-triton-500-pt515/

Computing-wise, the machine sports the same chip as the Triton 900 – the more than capable Intel Core i7-8750H. Again, the graphics aspect is more interesting. This time you can choose between two new NVIDIA chips – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (Laptop). Additionally, the machine also offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1000GB SSD for storage, just like its bigger brother.

Triton 500 is a 15-incher that employs aluminum and looks like a really stylish gaming notebook with a pretty reasonable profile thickness of 17.8mm. What’s more, it will make you happy with a 15.6” IPS display that has Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Perfect for smooth gaming, indeed.

As for the connectivity options, you can make use of 3 USB Type-A 3.0, one USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort, HDMI), LAN, HDMI, and more. All these things come in a body that weighs 2.09 kg.

When it comes to pricing and release, we expect the Triton 500 to appear in February at a starting price of $1799. Similar devices are HP Omen 15 2018 and ASUS ROG GL504.
