    #5 ASUS TUF Gaming FX505

Here we have ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 configured with AMD Ryzen 5 3550H and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and this is not а coincidence. Ryzen 5 machines bring very good performance at a low price (lower than the Intel CPUs in the same performance category) and GTX 1650 is one of the most affordable entry-level GPU for gaming.

No matter the configuration, the FX505 has NVMe support and very thin bezels. We have a PWM-free screen (LG LP156WFC-SPD1) and an RGB backlight (option).

The build quality isn’t very good, color coverage is mediocre and battery life could be better.

    #4 Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54)

Acer Nitro 5 has a very decent battery life – more than 8 hours of Web surfing. The other pros are the backlit keyboard with nice travel and big arrows, fast 144Hz PWM-free screen (BOE NV156FHM-N4K BOE082A) (option) with accurate colors. RAID 0 is supported as well.

This configuration has Intel Core i7-9750H and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti – this is the cheapest way to have this combo right now.

Some cons – hot shell during gaming, no Thunderbolt and SD card reader, and the build is entirely made of plastic.

    #3 ASUS TUF Gaming FX705

One more ASUS offer here – ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 is the bigger brother of the FX505 model. It has a great IPS panel (AUO B173HAN04.2) which lacks PWM and has a very good sRGB coverage – 91%. The configuration that we are writing about is equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 3750H which is a very efficient CPU.

A Ryzen CPU (Ryzen 7 3750H) is on board as well as the GTX 1660 Ti. Those two will bring good frame times in popular games.

ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 has an all-plastic build, the GPU inside of it is underperforming compared to its competitors, and the display has a slow response time.

    #2 Dell G3 3590

Dell G3 15 3590 is one of the cheapest gaming devices. It has some drawbacks like no Thunderbolt support and not a very good display with bad sRGB coverage and aggressive PWM (fixed with our profiles). For this price tag, it is offering a lot of good things like decent upgradability, nice performance, comfortable keyboard, and an SD card reader.

This offer is equipped with Intel Core i7-9750H GeForce GTX 1660 Ti – the price is dirt cheap for so powerful components.

    #1 ASUS TUF Gaming FX505

It is not a surprise that ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 is here again. When we are talking about price and GPU performance at the same time its configuration with Ryzen 7 3750H and RTX 2060 is unbeatable.

This CPU is more efficient compared to the Intel ones (in its performance category) and at the same time, it brings better-priced configurations like this one here. Good job AMD, keep up with the good work.
