Lenovo Legion 5i (16, Gen 9) review – It Crushes the Competition with a Record-Breaking Stress Test

    Storage performance

Our notebook has a 512GB WD PC SN810 SDCPNRY-512G-1101 which is a snappy Gen 4 NVMe. It gets hot during benchmarking – 81°C. Under normal usage, the SSD isn’t that hot. If the bottom plate that houses the cooling pad for the NVMe was made of metal, not plastic, perhaps the NVMe shouldn’t be that toasty under heavy stress.
