Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) review – OLED is becoming mainstream
In Microsoft’s sphere of influence, the “Go” name is connected to the entry-level products. However, this is by far not the truth when it comes to laptops from Acer, as you’re going to learn today.
This review’s star is the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71). It falls in a tricky part of the market, where the laptop is neither pro-grade nor can be downgraded to just another daily driver.
If we consider it a moral successor to the Swift 3 lineup, we can say that we are happy with its specs sheet. There is a Core i7-13700H lingering there. We shouldn’t even have to mention how impressive this is for a 14-inch product.
Arguably more intriguing, however, is the 2.8K OLED display. This has the potential to make the laptop from good to great. Furthermore, Acer picked a panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate. This will provide an even smoother experience.
But let’s not put the cart before the horse. Let’s take the laptop out of its packaging, and show you Acer’s design work before we delve into the more technical aspect of this review.
