HP EliteBook 1040 G9 review – great build quality and a lot of features
One of the more stylish business brands on the market, the EliteBook series now gets more and more popular due to its ever-increasing roster of notebooks. The machine that we’re going to review today is not a rethink of the concept of business computers, but more like a refinement.
It is called the HP EliteBook 1040 G9. Naturally, it is a premium device, which has a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which will allow you to get more work done thanks to the increased vertical space.
The hardware inside is quite standard for office/productivity machines. We are talking about Intel 12th Gen U-series chips, which are super efficient and pretty powerful. It will be interesting to see if HP doesn’t let this notebook boost its CPU for long periods of time, as is the case with other EliteBooks.
If it is something that we expect, then we also think that the laptop is supposed to be really quiet under any condition. And this, in our opinion, is a feature far more valuable to business people, than pure performance.

What’s in the box?
Despite its rather high price, the EliteBook 1040 G9 doesn’t offer much in terms of package content. There, we only find the mandatory paperwork, as well as a 65W USB Type-C charger.
