Lenovo LOQ (16″ Intel, 2023) review – literally an IdeaPad Gaming copy
Temperatures and comfort, Battery Life
Max CPU load
In this test we use 100% on the CPU cores, monitoring their frequencies and chip temperature. The first column shows a computer’s reaction to a short load (2-10 seconds), the second column simulates a serious task (between 15 and 30 seconds), and the third column is a good indicator of how good the laptop is for long loads such as video rendering.

Although it doesn’t beat the Katana 15 (B13V) to the highest recorded clock speed, the LOQ (16″ Intel, 2023) does manage to boost its E-cores really high at the end of the test. Interestingly, its power target appears to be 70W.

Interestingly, this laptop is capable of running its RTX 4050 with pretty high frequencies. There is an automatic overclock function in the Lenovo Vantage app, and we turned it on for this test.
Gaming comfort
This didn’t result in too loud of fan noise, but the external temperatures were a bit too high for comfort.
Battery
Now, we conduct the battery tests with Windows Better performance setting turned on, screen brightness adjusted to 120 nits and all other programs turned off except for the one we are testing the notebook with. This configuration of the device features an 80Wh battery pack. It lasts for 6 hours of Web browsing, or 6 hours and 31 minutes of video playback.

Time to Full Discharge: Higher is Better
In order to simulate real-life conditions, we used our own script for automatic web browsing through over 70 websites.

Salut! J’hésite à acheter un loq 16, mais un truc me dérange, en ce moment les loq 16 ont de super promo allant de 984$ (la version 4060 amd 7 7840HS) à 700$ la version 3050 mais il n’apparaît pas dans les tops de pc à low budget, c’est normal ? Sinon, merci pour cette revue.
