Lenovo Yoga 6 (13, Gen 8) review – compact 2-in-1 laptop that offers great comfort during any kind of load

When it comes to versatility, most modern 2-in-1 laptops are universal devices that are good enough for almost every task, except heavy gaming and and some other specific loads that are more suitable for workstations. You can find these gadgets in different sizes and this time we will show you a compact fella that is loaded with powerful hardware for its size – the Lenovo Yoga 6 (13″, Gen 8).

Yes, since it’s a 13-incher, you can’t expect 45W CPU options but we know from our previous reviews that the refreshed Barcelo-U chips offer a good mix of power and efficiency for the class. This machine has passed the MIL-STD-810H military test tortures so we can expect to see a solid chassis but we’ll inspect this further in the review.

There is just one display variant but since it comes with a 16:10 ratio and touch support we can call it a day. In terms of extras, this compact device isn’t too far behind compared to some other bigger siblings from the same brand like the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 (16 AMD, Gen 8). A smaller base like this one here can be a real challenge for the cooling system especially during heavy stress so we are impatient to punish the notebook with some benchmarks.
