Storage performance
Our laptop has a 1TB WD PC SN740 SDDQNQD-1T00-1014. Below you can see some benchmarks of this Gen 4 SSD.
Unfortunately, it reached a whopping 84°C temperature after a short benchmark run. This shouldn’t be a problem during normal usage where you don’t pound the NVMe with linear write and read loads for hours. Still, Acer should have preapplied a heatsink as the SSD is fast and heats up quickly.
