日本Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 review – another quiet and powerful business notebook
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 is another business laptop that is compact but can be configured with powerful hardware. We are talking about the latest and greatest Intel Raptor Lake U and P-series chips. The U CPUs already showed great potential when it comes to overall performance and battery life. So, they are a good choice for a device like this one that can be used for working on the go.
The manufacturer is calling this machine a “Highly configurable powerhouse”. Well, a look at the specs and we can already confirm that. There are eight CPU options, yes, 8! You can also find this machine with a large variety of memory configurations that include soldered DDR4 and LPDDR5x RAM combined with a SODIMM slot. There is an optional dGPU and if you need this extra, your laptop will lack the SODIMM so keep an eye on the specs before buying. Security is always important in this class. Here we have a Web camera with a privacy shutter, vPro CPUs, dTPM module, human presence detection, etc. By the way, some of these extras are optional so you have to pay more if you want them.
The I/O also looks good but some of the ports are optional as well. Because this is a typical Lenovo office device, the Trackpoint can be found in the middle of the keyboard. We almost forgot that you can choose among 8 display options (two of them are touchscreens) and the top one is a 2.8K OLED panel. Yep, this notebook is definitely highly configurable and now we have to check if it’s a powerhouse or not.

What’s in the box?
This packagе contains only the essentials – manuals, a 65W USB Type-C adapter, and the laptop itself. The least powerful machines are bundled with a 45W charger.
