MSI Bravo 15 C7U review – well-performing device with good cooling and refreshed Zen 3+ CPUs

CPU options
This laptop can be configured with the Ryzen 5 7535HS or Ryzen 7 7735HS. We decided to buy a machine with the Ryzen 7 to see how the cooling will handle the top CPU option.
Results are from the Cinebench R23 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)
GPU options
The GPU variants are corresponding to the budget nature of this notebook – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 (70W) and the GeForce RTX 3050 (Laptop, 75W, 6GB). We choose the latter in order to check how good the cooling is when it has to deal with the most powerful internal of this laptop’s series. Still, the 6GB version of the GeForce RTX 3050 is a curious case, compared to the standard RTX 3050 4GB. It has 2560 shaders and 80 TMUs just like the mobile RTX 3050 Ti while the ROP count is the same as the non-Ti version. However, this new version has a 6144MB VRAM size and a 96-bit memory bus (the RTX 3050 has a 128-bit bus by default). So, let’s how fast this Frankenstein-like GPU is.
